SCOFF A
COFFEE
at
St Hildeburgh's Parish Church
Stanley Road, Hoylake
on
Saturday, June 4, 2016
10.30am-12noon
The slogan is ‘Scoff a Coffee’ because patrons can scoff as much coffee,
tea and biscuits as they like for the admission fee of £1.50. Accompanied kids
go free.
The event is run by St
Hildeburgh's Ladies’ Guild to raise money for the church’s stunning floral
displays at Easter,
Harvest and Christmas.
It is a really bustling,
friendly occasion held in the church centre, which opens on to a terrace and
bluebell wood. Stalls will sell cakes, books, handmade greetings cards, gifts
and bring & buy items, and there’s a tombola and a raffle.
The guild welcomes
good-quality donations for the various stalls. Please bake cakes, give books,
hand over unwanted presents, liberate treasures (not junk!) from your attic
and cough up high-class prizes for the raffle and tombola. Please put donations
in the box at the back of church and bring cakes to the Church Centre from 7pm
on Friday, June 3, or before 10am on the Saturday.
Then come along on the day,
enjoy yourself and spend a little
cash!
